Public transport
From Dúrcal, there are several public transport options that allow visitors to travel comfortably to different destinations in the area without needing a car. The most common way to get around is by intercity bus operated by ALSA and the Granada Metropolitan Transport Consortium.

Lines 360 and 361 connect Dúrcal with Granada city centre and other nearby towns such as Alhendín, Padul, Marchena, Nigüelas and Talará. These lines run several times a day and are ideal for visiting Granada on a day trip, shopping or simply strolling around the city.

For years, we dreamed of creating a place where nature, tranquillity and the spirit of travel would come together. That dream is called Base Camp Granada, and it has come to life in a privileged setting, in the heart of Granada in a small village called Dúrcal.
We are three souls united by enthusiasm and hard work. We have built every part of this rural campsite with our own hands, putting our heart and soul into every corner, with the aim of creating a space where everyone who arrives feels at home.
Base Camp Granada is more than just a campsite: it is the mark of hard work, a place to create memories, relax and connect with nature. Here you will find a carefully maintained environment, designed for living each moment to the fullest.
Amidst the citrus aromas of the Lecrín Valley that inspired different civilisations to create their perfumes and the gentle breeze that heralds the Mediterranean, lies the charming municipality of Dúrcal, located in the centre of the province between Granada and the majestic Alpujarra.
Surrounded by unbeatable landscapes, natural water sources, trails and imposing mountains on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, Dúrcal is the ideal destination for lovers of nature, active tourism and tranquillity. Where every sunrise seems hand-painted and poets lost themselves in its beauty to delight us with their texts, creating lyrical harmony.
