Conchi Esturillo:

Conchi Puerta Conejero, a graduate in Engraving and Printing Techniques from the José Val del Omar School of Art and Design in Granada, has developed a solid background in various traditional and contemporary graphic processes. Among all the techniques she has learned, photogravure with photopolymer plates particularly caught her interest, as it allows her to combine technical precision with a more personal visual language. Passionate about photography for many years, this medium has become an essential pillar of her artistic practice, serving as a starting point for her works. Her work is inspired by the passage of time, fragility and transience as inevitable conditions of human existence, concepts she explores through the elements of nature, establishing a dialogue between image, matter and memory.
