Oil Painting Exhibition

My name is Rosalía Roldán Flores.

From a very young age, I discovered painting as a natural form of expression. My earliest memories of painting were at school, where I began drawing horses, fascinated by their movement and strength.

Later, in secondary school, this artistic inclination became a way of sharing: I helped my classmates with their drawing assignments and enjoyed the opportunity to accompany others in their creative process.

Over time, my gaze turned towards landscape, a territory where I find a deep connection with nature. I work mainly with oil and pastel, techniques that allow me to explore the richness of colour and the subtlety of light. My inspiration comes from the colours offered by the environment: the transparency of water, the vibration of a sunset, the golden warmth of autumn. Each work is an attempt to capture those fleeting sensations that nature gives us and which, when observed, awaken in me an emotion that is difficult to put into words.

This exhibition marks an important milestone in my career. It is the first time I have shared my work publicly, a step I take with excitement and gratitude. Through my landscapes, I seek to convey not only what I see, but also what I feel: the energy, serenity and light that surround me when I contemplate the natural world.
